Default Carbatec SawStop Jobsite JSS Pro, almost new, $1500

On behalf of a friend I'm selling an almost new SawStop Jobsite JSS Pro table saw, deceased estate, which never got to be used beyond a few test sheets.
These are $2,299 at Carbatec, and we are selling for $1500.

The SawStop is no ordinary saw table as no doubt many of you know, but has the smarts the manufacturer says to stop the blade spinning within 5 milliseconds if it makes contact with skin. See the Carbatec description here

As you can see in the third picture, it comes with some new spare blades and a new spare brake cartridge.
The saw is located in Adelaide.

Very sad reason for a sale. Been looking for one of these for a while now and would jump at it if it were in WA. Best of luck with sale.

I am very interested. I'm selling a few things at the moment to raise loot to downsize. My studio is no more, so small is the go!

Would you be interested in securely packaging this into a box (say, a fridge box, or such) cut down (custom made) for the size and then allowing a courier to collect it? I'd arrange everything, all you'd need to do is securely attach the label to the box. Of course I'd pre-pay and there is no transport risk on your part.

    I thought to ask.

At $1500, this saw is $800 off new, but by the time boxing and couriering, that advantage would have to start whittling away to some point where, with a new saw warranty in mind, it doesn't become worth it. As mentioned, it is deceased estate, and my guess is that it probably had a 12 month warranty that would have expired by now.

My role in this is to help out the family with selling it, and I know they do not have the skills to put a crate together, but if it gets to a point that selling it to someone who can pick it up proves difficult, then I'll have to find a pallet and some timber to box it up. So for now, I'm sorry, I'll hang out for a local sale.

Hi .... where about in Adelaide are you located?

I’m not in the market for the saw but depending on location I might be able to provide assistance for interstate buyers.

Hi, I’m very interested and can come and have a look this afternoon or tomorrow - I work in the inner west so if nearby I can be pretty flexible to inspect.
