    Default Carbatec Thicknesser

    Our club has for sale a Carbatec CTJ-381 thicknesser. It is fitted with a spiral cutter head but comes with the original 3 blade straight head as well. There are also 2 new sets of blades included. The machine has given faithful service over a long time and still runs well. This would be a cheap option to upgrade your machine to spiral head or use as a second machine. Surplus to our requirements the lot is for sale for $1720.00. Located in Hervey Bay we are only a short drive from Brisbane for pick-up. Inspection can be arranged for most times by messaging this advert.

    So, how long ago was the upgrade done?
    how many times have the cutters been turned?

    The upgrade was done approximately 7-8 years ago. The cutters are on their last turn now but I have been informed that the insert seats are in excellent condition. It is a Shelix head and the inserts are readily available.

    NEW BOTTOM PRICE IS $1000. This will allow buyer to fit a new set of inserts. We need the space. No argy bargaining at this price. All the other blades etc still included.
