Dawn Post Drill Model No 61 Not 611
Dawn Post Drill Model No 61
This is a complete Dawn no 61 Post Drill.
"This is a well constructed light type (23kgs) drilling machine fitted with adjustable Automatic feed. The flywheel is of particularly heavy design to maintain momentum"
The handwheel goes round and the cogs work smoothly, turning the chuck. It still has most of its original Paint. It will make a nice display piece for the garden or shed.
The adjusting cam lever is complete and works (this is often broken) BUT the adjusting wheel on top is frozen and will not turn. It looks to me like the lock nut on top has rusted and frozen the wheel as a result. (See photo) I believe this is fixable but I don't want to be the one to get it going, so I am selling this rare and desirable drill for only $50.
Definitely Pick up only from Oakleigh East because its Heavy (23kg or 51 lbs for the nostalgics out there!)
$50
