FESTOOL MIDI DUST EXTRACTOR - Great Condition Used only a back up dusty

Hi Guys,

I have my Festool Midi Dust Extraction for sale and comes with a new extra filter ( the one in it is almost new as well ) and spare bag, vac wand and a retro fitted a Festool lead holder ( this model never had one ). The reason for selling was to update to the new ones with bluetooth built in as I needed the bluetooth model. I have packed in the new Midi box which means I can ship it out all packed perfect. So no having to collect it, the price I am asking includes delivery. It's in great condition as I am a hobbist and mainly used it for a kitchen project at my daughters house. (My main shop dusties are the 36 and 26 models ) and they stay in the shop, thats why I had the midi. These Midi's are now $890 new price.

The Midi is a great size to carry from site to site.

Is the cord storage removable to make the unit more compact?

These are a great vac, if I could justify the money I'd buy it just to use around the house

My wife destroyed so many vac's over the years (at least 12-13 or so), with the longest lasting around 1.5 years, so I ended up getting her one of these around 7-8 years back, and it's literally the only vac she hasn't been able to kill in the last several decades!

The only issue we had was breaks in the electric cabling near the clamp point due to how damn rough she is with dragging these things around. Brilliant vac.

Yeah mine eventually got a break at the cable clamp as well, took about 10 mins to take it apart, cut the broken end off and wire it back up.

Yes I know I'm technically not supposed to do that, but seriously, it's 3 colour coded wires. If you manage to screw that up you arguably shouldn't be operating the vacuum either

Also...what the heck was she doing with them?!?

I really don't know how she does it, she's a tiny little thing but man she can just destroy stuff!

I'm still using the 38L square Festo branded extractor I bought I think around the very early 80's, but electric frypans, 6-12 months, pots, 6 months, etc. I melt down all the old frypans and i've done a fair amount of them over the years!

People rag on Festool for the pricing, but the proof is in the pudding I reckon, they last. I can't even begin to imagine just how much I've lost on vac's over the years, Miele, Bosch, you name it. The midi is the only thing "wife proof" in our house!

Yes mate it is just screwed on easily removed.
