Thread: Festool Rotex 150mm in Systainer Plus heaps of NEW sanding discs - $300 Lot

Hi all, in an effort to clear some very much needed space and items, I'm selling my Festool 150mm Rotex.

This is the RO1E model, I think the first model released, and is an absolute beast of a machine and in Rotex mode can be very aggressive. The change from Rotex to Random Orbit is done via the swivelling head assembly, so you can easily change modes, but I believe you can also dial it into any combination inbetween either mode with the lock lever, but i'm not 100% sure on that aspect as I really only used it in Rotex mode.

It's variable speed, and is complete and in perfect working order, and bar some light scratches on the top, I would consider it in extremely good condition, and I've also put it into one of the newer model T-Loc systainers. The scratches on the removable plastic head cover could easily be buffed out if they bugged you, but it's actually very handy to lay upside down when not being used, so I was never bothered by them.

The velcro on the original pad is lifting very slightly on a bit on one side and the foam on the edge of the pad is starting to show wear in places, and although it doesn't impact in any way and still has plenty of life, I'm also throwing in a new replacement pad (a generic one off Ebay) for when it eventually needs replacing. I'm also throwing in the following very large (and expensive) assortment of new sanding discs to help the buyer get things off to a running start.

I'll also have some other gear to sell in a few weeks such as some more tools, a petrol posthole digger, as well as a few things I'll be giving away for free, such as a mulcher, new and unused 32" (DVI plug) monitor, plus whatever else I find in my way.

Edit: Including another pad I found that I had bought with the Rotex, it's used with self adhesive discs I'm guessing, not entirely sure as I don't recall ever having used it, but it's in great condition.
