Thread: Festool ROTEX RO 90 Sander/Polisher & Abrasives

A couple of years ago, in the midst of a tool-buying frenzy, I bought this RO 90. It’s a great machine, but as I’ve gone along my woodworking journey I’ve found it to be one of my least-used tools, due to the type of work I do. I reckon it is most suitable for renovation, restoration, and small-scale sanding and polishing jobs.

I have the tool and a bunch of abrasives and accessories (see pics below). I’ll offer them for sale first as a job lot, and if there are no takers, split them if I have to.

The warranty on the Rotex is valid until November 2018 and is transferrable. In terms of use, the tool is basically new, and has been well looked-after.

I’m asking for $1000 for the lot.

- Systainer
- Sanding Pad Protector (unused)
- Stickfix Sanding Pad V93 (triangular pad; this is nearly worn through - a pair of replacements is $42)
- Soft Fastfix Sanding Pad D 90 (round pad; works perfectly - has black marks on the side from polishing some tinted wood wax)
- Foam Polishing Pad 80mm (suits Festool 80mm polishing sponges; has some texta marks on the side)
