Fixed Base Router - ideal for router table.
I have a fixed-base 1/2" GMC router for sale that has been in my router table for 10 years - very light use as I am predominantly a hand tool guy. This is an excellent router for a router table.
It has:
* 2 hp
* variable speed
* soft start
I removed the handle to connect the on-off directly to a switch in the bench. The handle is available to re-attach if you wish. I have also added a handle to aid in adjust the depth of cut.For the price, you cannot purchase better!
Since you can separate the motor from the base, this is a good unit to add to a dedicated lift.
I want $40. Please note that this is pick up only, so you will need to fly to Perth if elsewhere in Oz!
Here is a photo of it in my current router table - no, you do not get the table saw with it, nor the router plate

Love this ad, I am curious whether you've had some audacious punters asking whether the table saw came with...

No, it was sold a while back (mentioned in post #3). Sorry, I should have been clearer.
