    Default Griggio SC3200 panel saw (broken + free)

    Hate that my first (well second) post is a for sale thread, but really hoping to make some room in the work space.

    Have an old Griggio panel saw which does not work. Both the main and scribing saw motor are dead, everything else good - table stop, sliding mechanism. We looked into replacing the motors, but it wasn't worth it for a machine that we wouldnt use much so sat there for years. It was was going to be about $300 for the main motor from memory. Cannot remember how much for a scribing motor though. Will also need an electrician to hook it up to 3 phase (unless you want to fit single phase motor and switches). Will also provide some saw blades and scribing saw blades (whatever we have).

    Cost: Free!
    Pick up only, SE Melb, sold as is.

    Hi Qwertyu,

    There is actually a whole forum for free or swap stuff - just look down the list in the marketplace - you may be better listing that there.

    It sounds like a great machine at the right price! Someone can get a bargain.
