Grinder - suitable for low speed grinding
I bought this some years ago to set up for low speed grinding and honing of carving gauges and chisels. Many of the top line carvers use one of these connected to a small washing machine motor (plenty available free of charge if you're industrious). Coupled together with a cheap drive belt and you have a great low speed honing tool. Sadly I never set it up for use and hence time to move it on. This one is a quality cast Australian product by Tough (they made good lathes also). Probably dates around the 1950's - 1970's I guess. $25 pickup from Ascot.
