    Default Hard to find full 4 Vol set 1920's "The Practical Woodworker"

    Up for sale is a very hard to find 4 volume set of "The Practical Woodworker" by Bernard E Jones from the 1920's. The condition is good with the only point of note some slight separation of the cloth from the spine in one small area on Volume 4 which does not detract from appearance or use. All pages are tight and in good condition. For those not aware of this publication it is a seminal work of some 1600 pages covering all aspects of woodworking techniques from use of tools, sharpening, preparation of timber, design, drafting, woodcarving, marquetry, woodturning etc etc. What really sets it apart though are the 100's of detailed project drawings covering everything from garden woodwork to Louis XV screens. It makes a fantastic reference book. Asking $80. Pickup from Ascot or post in a 5kg postbag at buyers expense.
