Bump!

(this is done to move the item for sale back to the top of the list where it can be seen. If the item has been sold the original poster is obliged to post a "sold" post so the moderators can close the thread.)

Zeddie,

What actually needs adjustment, the cutter block blades etc or something else and how complicated is the fiddling to get it right.

John,

the infeed table has to be aligned to the cutterhead and the outfeed roller of the thicknesser requires tensioning.

A bit undecided, one issue is how to get it to Vic, I've been looking at the wider 400+ Jet and it is really if the 300 wide is suitable.

I've never had an issue with boards ... I mean.. 310mm. thats big enough. even professionals dont have bigger ones (mostly).

In my experience a 300mm board is hard enough - do you have a power feeder?

I would love an offer (ONO...) I've split the transit cost if you bought it.

It's fine for boards, although sometimes I like to thickness joined boards and 15" would be handy. It's interesting because you have gone for a smaller jointer but larger thicknesser possibly for similar reasons. Ideally I'd have an 8" jointer and 20" thicknesser but the shed doesn't have swinging cat room as it is.

Every now and again the admin team try to push the SOLD items from the list so that only items still for sale appear in the first few pages of the Market Place, this post is part of that process.

The manner in which the posts are made keeps the order of the open sales roughly the same.

There is no need to reply to this post UNLESS YOUR ITEM IS SOLD OR WITHDRAWN FROM SALE. If that is the case please post a message saying so, the mods will then close the thread and mark the item as SOLD.
