Industrial Duty Table Saw $500
Greetings All,
I have an English made sliding table saw up for sale. Powered by a 3phase motor of around 3hp it’s ready to go as is or could be setup relatively easily to run on a VFD from a single phase supply, or could be converted to a single phase motor. Tested when I purchased, ripped a few short pieces and all was good. All the sliding stuff is working, although it could all use a good scrub and some lubrication. Comes with a couple of blades, riving knife and blade guard.
Purchased on a whim (for about 3x selling price) and currently sitting in my trailer, ready to be delivered. It was disassembled for transport and will be delivered in several parts (the main cabinet, sliding table, and sliding guide).
Price is fixed at $500 and includes delivery to your driveway within 50km of the Adelaide CBD. Prefer to sell local, but if you’re interested and interstate, I can freight using Land Transport (depots in all major capitals, and consign as pay on pickup), message to discuss first.

That’s the same price as a local men’s shed bought one for and $500 more expensive than one a woodturning club scored one for.
Both these were ex Uni up here in Sydney and in the too hard basket for the admin dudes.
That being said the Wadkin Bursgreen BGP is a great little tilting arbor saw.
12” blade and correct riving knife set up. 2.4m travel on the sliding table.
That inner round bar can be slid in out of the operators way.
In years past I’ve onsold a few of these for multiple of what your asking.

Put some longer adjustable feet where the factory ones are and a properly built cradle under it and it will perform no differently to how the maker intended once the feet are levelled. But I will grant you that it is a sizeable bit of kit which does put it beyond what many of us can accomodate in the space available.
