Hi Bazza
I would not mind having a go at the blanks as I had to leave all my stuff on Russell Island when we moved. Problem one. Ute head blown. Problem 2. Still trying to sell my lathe. Seems early year it's hard. I phoned Vicmark and they say they are out of stock and working hard to manufacture. Weird. Anyway I'll keep an eye on your post and see how it goes.
Good luck my friend. I know the PTSD dilemma. I live and have lived with it for 20 years. Been the divorce way as well. Found and married (so she does not go walkabout) the best women you can find. Feisty, takes not sh@!*t but boy stands by me. God bless my friend. With kind regards and may the wood chips fly

Hi Islander,
As you can see Troy has responded earlier than you and I have replied to him responding to specific questions he had. If for some reason Troy does not purchase it, you are more than welcome to trot on over and have a gander. If I had the time I would be selling it as lots and hake a few bob out of it as there is considerable value in it.
Regards
Bazza

Had cause to visit Bazza yesterday, as I am keen on getting a small bandsaw.
He is a top bloke, and I was really impressed with all he has to move on. I must say that the photos of the timber he has, don't do the collection the justice it deserves, and I have no doubt that however looks/buys timber will be SUPER IMPRESSED

I took a trip out to Bazza's today. There's more turning timber there than I can handle. Understandably, Barry would prefer to have someone take the lot rather than cherry pick. Pricing is very fair and some of the species that I could identify included Jacaranda, Euc Burl, Varieties of Acacia, Mulberry? and a host of others accumulated over time. There are also several big tubs of small blanks not pictured. If you can handle a sizeable volume of timber for a club or shared between a few turners ten it might be worth a look.

Thanks for the late notice mate. I made the special trip for you to inspect it as you knew. Please be more considerate to other members that you make commitments to in the future.
