Default Nothing lasts forever - including my marriage.

    Hi all,
Well after 47 years I have been told I'm too hard to live with which is most likely true. Living with PTSD from time in Vietnam back in '69 takes a big toll on one and those close to that person.

Over the years I have collected a fair few bits of machinery and tools and now have to dispose of it as I won't have room anymore. I'm unsure of the going price for these items but I know that if I'm off the mark you characters will let me know.

So here goes with the list and photos.

Sold to MrThumper - Gregory Machinery 10"contractors table saw in OK (cuts accurately and its clean) condition. Comes with all the bits shown and there are about 6 spare blades in a drawer somewhere. Asking price is $450.00

    Tablesaw 2.jpgTablesaw 1.jpg

Jet 1200 Lathe with all the attachments and chisels (Hamlet brand) photographed. This is in really good condition and there are heaps of chisels, faceplates, jaws and drives included. The Lathe can be dismantled for transport and is bl.... heavy. I'm hoping to sell this for around $1500.00 complete as photographed.

14"bandsaw (made in Taiwan Type) with 6"riser and fence. There are some various blades with this but I can't guarantee their sharpness (but could be new too!) The belt is good and the blade guides are ceramic. Hopefully I'll get somewhere near $200.00 for this.

Good old 6" twin wheel bench grinder that is old but runs true. There are about 4 different wheels of varying grit included with this as well as the rests shown. Has to be worth $50.00?
    Bench grinder 1.jpgBench grinder 2.jpg

Sold to Robyn2839 - Bench Drill Press again a bit long in the tooth and not as accurate as it used to be but still good for general use. I have used it for drilling pen blanks so it is not that bad. Comes with the set of jaws shown. Does $40.00 sound like a fair price?
    Drill press 1.jpgDrill press 2.jpgDrill press 3.jpg

Sold to daninjt - Ryobi Belt and Disk Sander with a few spare belts and some sanding disks. Got to be worth $40.00.
Belt and disc sander 1.jpgBelt and disc sander 2.jpg

GMC SCMS with a couple of spare blades. This can be made to cut accurately with a bit of time recalibrating. The slide shaft has some surface rust on it but otherwise not bad. Has to be a steal at $30.00
    SCMS 1.jpg

Ryobi Scroll Saw as pictured $90.00 There is a bucket (small honey one) load of blades of varying teeth to go with this. Am I too greedy asking for $90.00?

Oops - must have forgot to photograph this one in my rush. Sorry but it has hardly been used.

Jet 2Hp Dust Extractor with a plastic 44 Gallon drum (empty of sawdust) and the separator lid for the drum. There are also a heap of the 4"fittings and flexible pipe included. The base of the extractor has some rust on it but not bad. Asking for $400.00
    Dust extractor 1.jpgDust extractor 2.jpg

Jet 3 speed air filter with remote. It is surprising how much dust this thing extracts from the air. $250.00
    Air filter1.jpg

Sold to MrThumper - Carbatec 6"Joiner
with a spare set of blades. This has had little use and runs well. $350.00
    Jointer 1.jpgJointer 3.jpgJointer 2.jpg

Garden shed full of Turning Blanks. There are some outstanding bits of timber in it all including some burls and it is all dry. I want them gone and it will be a case of take one - take all. How about $150.00 for the lot and I'll help you load it into your truck!!
    Blanks 1.jpgBlanks 2.jpgBlanks 3.jpgBlanks 4.jpgBlanks 5.jpgBlanks 6.jpgBlanks 7.jpgBlanks 8.jpg

I also have various hand tools to dispose of like saws, chisels, planes, squares, sharpening stones, rulers, sandpaper and woodturning consumables and the list goes on. Unfortunately my opportunities to photograph all these things is limited and I'm hoping that if somebody would like to buy it all they might clean out all the shed items for a few bucks more.

I have no idea of how to price these items and have had a stab in the dark for most of it. I would appreciate it if anybody thinks I'm way off the mark to let me know so price can be adjusted.

Any questions or comments please send me a PM or respond to the post. Preferable I'd really like to sell it all in one lot and will negotiate the price to do so.

Happy viewing and salivating over all the goodies and happy buying!

    Thanks for looking and considering
    Bazza

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. If you are up to post (at my cost), I'd be keen on the chisels and the squares, and probably a plane - Im starting out as a woody so really dont have much.

Pity you aint in vic or i'd buy most of what you have

    cheers

I may be interested in the timber if not already spoken for. That said I fully respect first dibs to those who may have already nominated their interest.
