    Default MC1100 with EVS

This is a MC1100 lathe with 2hp motor and EVS. It has a stepped pulley for better torque at low speed and comes with 3 tool rests.
This is a great lathe that runs smooth and has plenty of grunt. I am asking $700 and welcome anyone to come a see before buying.

I am very surprised this hasn't been snapped up by now. Someone is going to get a bargain!

Too far away for me, and no room, but...., nah, someone else will be well pleased with it.

Yes, I'm interested in the lathe. Are there any centres or faceplates with it or is it just the machine with tool rests?

Hi Builder. There are no centres or face plates, just the three tool posts. If you are down this way you are most welcome to come and see the lathe before making any decision.

    Thanks, Peter

    Thanks Peter,
It looks to be what I'm after. I'm wanting to confirm that the headstock with motor etc slides and pivots for outboard turning. What is the max length between centres that can be turned on the lathe? Do you prefer weekdays or weekends?
    Regards, Marco

Hi Marco, yes the headstock and motor assembly still slides and pivots for outboard turning. Max length between centres is 1100mm according to spec but I have not measured it but it would be so close to that. I am back to work Thursday so I guess either this Wednesday or else weekend.

    Thanks

    Peter
