Default MFT accessories: UJK fence, benchdogs UK

Parf guide system jig only. I know it’s a bit random, but could use it to make your own MFT top or if you buy the other accessories to make it. $40

    Cheers

Done. I'll take it. Will send you private message. To avoid scammers only reply to my private email not the private message in this forum.

    How would that avoid scammers?

    Default Avoiding Scammers

Whilst there maybe scammers that I am not aware of, the pattern that I have seen is as follows

    1. Member X offers an item for sale.

    2.Member Y replies I will take it.

3.Scammer pretends to be X and sends a message from the forum directing payment to the Scammers account.

    4.Member Y sends money

    5.Tears all round

What they haven't done is hacked Member X's account.

Any private message sent to Member X can not be seen by the scammer. So when member Y receives an email at his private email address after privately messaging Member X he or she can be confident that it is genuine.

This will work as long as the scammers don't hack the private messaging.

Hope [a] this answers your question [b] I haven't made a monumental error.

    Cheers

Hi D, the logic kinda works, but the only way you can get a scam message via the forum is for the seller to have had his account hacked, or they setup a new almost identical account as was the case here not long back.

I'd actually have more faith receiving a message direct from the seller via the forum, that at least rules out everything except the account itself being hacked.

One of the problems is human brains are wired for pattern recognition. We are programmed not to notice really minor changes [like adding a full stop] by using the WWF link to the seller with your private email the email you get with payment details is from the seller not from someone pretending to be the seller . This way you don't have to really, really scrutinise the identity of the payee.
