    Default Odds & Sods

Selling a few of my unfinished projects, as I’m moving to smaller premises later this year.

Stanley No4 plane Made in England. $35.00 Plus postage of $15.00.

I dismantle the plane and send it as a flat pack.

    Canadian No4 Complete $35.00 Plus $15.00 Postage

    Stanley No7 Frankenplane $95.00 Plus postage $30.00

The sad story is that I dropped this plane and have ruined the cast iron body at the mouth, making brazing impractical. So I picked up an older incomplete corrugated No7 base at a garage sale (Type 11?) and was planning to swap the frog, blade, handles over to it. It will be a Franken plane but will make an excellent user. I can send the broken body with this (+$30.00 postage) or junk it.

One problem with the corrugated body is that the front knob bolt has sheared off but there is enough of it sticking proud to drill out as per the pics.

I reckon the Atlas will do the job. Here's a pic I've taken with my 16 tpi tenon saw as a comparison. It will probably fit into the same bag as the switch so there'll be no extra postal charge.

I would but I think i'll be ripping you off . My post says $95.00 for the franken plane and i'll throw in the damaged base for the cost of the postage if you like.
