Default Pair of unusual vintage hand planes

Pair of unusual vintage hand planes. Timber infill block plane / chariot plane and Paramo No. 10 Planemaster.

The infill plane has a void in the casting of the ‘bridge’ near the front handle that someone has filled with what looks like builder’s filler and the front timber handle has some cracking. Chip out of the mouth (see pics). Solid little plane, weighing in at 820 grams.

Paramo Planemaster No.10. Has an original branded blade. Not a highly regarded plane, judging by the reviews. This model was designed to take disposable blades. Someone might want to add it to their collection (on the shelf) rather than keep it as a user plane. From what I can tell, not too many made their way to Australia, but more common in the UK.

    $60 for the pair (+ $15 postage).

    Will not seperate.

You could send Bill Carter and email as he makes infill planes and restores them as well. But I doubt very much he would give you a pretty penny for it.

Stanley UK did a similar replaceable blade plane in the early 80s.
Called it the RB10 from memory.
I wonder if they bought out Paramo?
