    Default Panel Max/Plano clamps

I have some of these clamps. Not "Plano" but essentially the same AFAIK they come out of the same factory.

A single set includes 3 clamps (43"/1092.2mm) and 1 mounting rail.

    Description:

    • 3 each of the 43" clamps and hardware.
    • 1 each of the 39" mounting rails.
    • With one system you can glue panels up to:
      • 37" Tall x 48" Wide x 5" Thick

I have 1 set which I have opened but have not used and a few others which are new in box. Selling as I dont have the space for them.

Will sell 1 set for $500 or 3 sets for $450 each

    Pick up Clayton

I dont have a pic of them set up but this is what they look like:

And heres a photo I took of the label on the box:

    Hi qwertyu

Do you have the dimension and weight of the packages? Also your postcode? Just want to do a quick postage cost check.

    Cheers

These are too long for Auspost to handle, you'll have to use a courier. Try Sendle or e-go.

    Hi mate

Sendle is my go to for any and everything less letters. Love that they are getting popular! Would you be able to quote postage to Townsville, 4812?

    Cheers

I have the Plano version of these and can highly recommend the system. I have 5 metres of system on my walls. I can easily glue up 16 + panels in a day and still be able to work.

Personally I think this system is far superior to the frontline system.

Im just a happy user and owner.

Whats the capacity of the Plano? is it the same as these or are they larger? Carbatec says 1200mm but I'm not sure if thats the length of the clamp or clamping capacity

The clamps on the Plano branded ones are 49". I'm almost certain that the Plano ones are still made in Sweden and that the Panel Max/Flanel ones are an exact copy, they're made in Taiwan. As Enfield Guy says it is a quality system with the major advantage being that the clamps are designed to be mounted vertically so they take up next to no floor space.

A realistic maximum panel width for the Panel Max is 1020mm and for the Plano 1170mm, both these measurements are if the clamps are mounted vertically. If you search there are a few threads on here that provide information on the Panel Max system.

To help you get an accurate freight quote the weight of a box of 3 Panel Max clamps is closer to 12.5Kg than 10.5.

I have 4 that will clamp up 1250. I have 9 that will clamp 1100.

think about what you are clamping generally. 400, 600, 900, 1100 rarely, unless you are making heaps of dining tables. 1100 is way enough for most applications. Emember you have to get it out post glue up when it is one piece. Do you have help?
