Default Stanley #40 Scrub Plane

Rationalising tools again - need the room!

So here we have a really terrific Stanley #40 scrub plane, which has both Collector interest and functionality - that is, it is to be used (mercilessly if you can!).

Full length Sweetheart (SW) blade (these first appeared in 1919), Beech handles, and 90% japanning.

The Tool Exchange is selling the same SW plane for $295. Hans Brunner has a newish version (non-SW) for $135. My price is $95 (excluding postage) with a sharp blade and ready to go to work.

Payment either direct deposit or Paypal.

Contact me ...

Regards from Perth

Derek

All interested ...

Steve has not yet committed to purchase the scrub plane. He has first refusal. Please let me know if you are interested, and I will keep you in mind should he decline the plane.

Regards from Perth

Dere
