Ok Just back from the shed - can't help with the block planes, I'm sorry.
There are some other parts that may help you out.
I do have something for the Bailey:
Front knob with hardware, rear handle with hardware, depth adjuster and yoke.
Note - rear handle has a repaired crack, yoke is not Stanley (probably Falcon) but should fit.
I can likely do a front knob for the Rapier as well

Thanks Tom, that's great.
After sending my post I was looking at the rest of the planes and noticed that the No. 3 in the collection has a broken frog with no lateral adjuster. There is no brand just an 'S' on all the castings apart from the No. 3 on the base, as per photo. Any chance that you might have a frog? I will take the other stuff that you have plus the frog if I am lucky. Let me know the cost posted to 3238.
Thanks again

I think it's a Bailey but I am unsure.
There are probably members here who are more expert than I, however the bed is definitely pre frog adjuster - so before 1902 if it is a Bailey.
Are you sure that it had a lateral adjuster on the frog or is the top simply broken.
If it is pre-lateral adjuster then it is pre 1885
Someone else may chime in on this

Thanks again Tom
No, I have no idea if it had a lateral adjuster. I just presumed that it did.

Hi Scribbly,
I had forgotten all about the fact that I had asked you to put a cracked rear handle away for me after you kindly sent be the frog screws and handle hardware. I am getting there with the rebuild / restoration but keep getting side tracked.
I think it may have been the tote#2 with the crack, I would also take one of the front knobs for a#4/5 not fussy pick the one that matches the tote the best. I would also be keen to get a couple of cap iron screws and one #5 tote front screw if available.
I also have an issue with two lateral levers, a #4 that the disc has come off, it looks as if the previous owner soldered it on and a lovely #41/2 USA Pat. dated which I purchased and arrived without the disc. I am not sure the best way to rectify these issues but any advice or parts would be appreciated.
many thanks
