Thicknesser - CT330X with carbides
For sale is my CT330x carbitec thicknesser.
Its been a good and well behaved machine. Unfortunately it cant come with me See other posts for the story.
-- It is in excellent condition
-- It is smooth and operates PERFECTLY
-- It has had all its inserts replaced with carbides.
-- These are still on the first side and barely used.
-- There is a complete full set of the original HSS inserts
-- Has a WIXEY guage added, as you'd expect it is exact. In fact, its so damned nice they should all come with one.
-- The "tools", for what they are, are in the little side cabinet.
-- The tables are perfectly flat and SNIPE FREE
-- There is a post/thread somewhere here where I describe how to do this with accuracy, repeatability and ease somewhere on the forum
It is noisy. Thats just the way it is. Nowhere near the straight blade ones though!
-- It has ALWAYS operated with a DC.
-- It is CLEAN.
-- As the video demonstrates, it winds smoothly and turns on/off and acts exactly as it should and without any fault
-- It has NEVER had, nor has shown ANY impending fault, damage or niggle.
Im only selling it because I have to. If there was an option to retain it, I would. It is AN AWESOME MACHINE and I seriously love it. You will too.
This post is up for the benefit of simo.saurus.rex from the thread Wanted (ACT) Benchtop thicknesser and/or jointer I thought to give him first dibs on it. If he passes, Ill throw it open to the mob.
Looking for $700
If you need delivery, I can help you with this via my very cheap courier system and also wrapping/packing it so you receive it safe, snug and sound.
BTW, Ive removed the rear dust cover and seperate chute in these pictures to expose the inserts/knives for photography.
