Sorry I did not see this latest post.
The reason I am selling this UC100 is that I now run an AXBB-E motion controller also from CNCDrive in that machine.
It is motion control and BoB all in one.
I have a total of four CNC machines, Mill, Router, Desktop engraver and a CNC Plasma table and now have migrated them all to UCCNC from Mach3
Very happy with UCCNC.

What is it about UCCNC that sold you? I've been using Mach3 via parallel port for a few years. Can't say I love it but does it job. The reliance on a parallel port is annoying me running and having to run an old PC. I got tricked with the cheap chinese fake UC100's which jogged my machine but pins where not as expected when attempting to home so gave up and went back to parallel. The AXBB-E look like a great way of doing things but I dont think I'd go that far as I'd have to relearn how I wired my machine again . Maybe I'll look at AXBB-E for the next machine...

I have used Mach3 for almost fifteen years. It has been a great thing for hobby CNC users like me.
However it has long past being developed. For a lot of users LPT has become difficult as computers move away from both 32 bit and LPT.
That means Mach3 users are for the most part required to use third party external controllers like Smoothstepper, UC100 and others.
There are a lot of the operations that Mach3 dealt with when using the LPT. Those operations must be handled by the external device. Such as probing, backlash control, homing etc.
Some of these things become problematic in part because external device builders all do things differently. And sometimes struggle to get these things to even work well.
Anyway that is a long way of saying what I like about UCCNC is that the same people make the software and hardware. So they always play well together.
And it is being actively developed with a large user base which suggests that it is here for the long run.
As an example just two days ago I discovered a problem with UCCNCs handling of G93 code. Sent an explanation to Balazs (of CNCdrive) and he is immediately going to fix the anomaly for the next release.
These thing can never happen with Mach3

Thanks for replying and I have to agree. I think it’s time to move on from Mach3. Was just resetting up mine after moving house and I hate playing with Mach3 unless it’s just pressing Start. I also hate trying to get this old clunker XP box working on my network. Would rather use a Win10 pc. I downloaded a demo on UCCNC this morning and appears much cleaner and simple. With that I take you up on your offer. Do you have a PayPal account I can transfer to?

The item is sold.
I do not know how to reflect that in the thread title.
