    Default Veritas hand planes - As new condition

    Hey guys up for sale are a set of three veritas low angle hand planes.
    Would prefer to sell together but if minimal interest I’ll consider selling separately .
    Bought these only around a year ago. Sadly moved house and had no room for woodworking any longer, sold all of my machinery and never had a chance to use them.
    The block plane only chamfered the edge of a bookcase. The other two are unused.
    All still in boxes.
    Very superficial spot of rust on a couple of them where my finger has touched them otherwise they are in as new condition.

    Included are Low angle Jack, low angle smoothing and low angle block planes.

    Seeking $870. Which is what I have listed them for on other sites. Might have a little room to move for you folks though .

    A bit over 1k new on Carbatec.

    Postage not included!

    I’d prefer not to split at this point, but if no ones interest peaks at all 3 I’ll happily sell that one to you. It is the most expensive of the 3 and I’d be after $370 for it. I believe they are around $410 new.

    I think that you will do better if you are prepared to sell the planes individually. I doubt many need all. Many more here just desire one.

    Okay guys I’ll split them if I can sell at least two Separately, so will need a couple of people to comment prior to accepting offers on individual planes.

    Breakdown will be as follows.

    I’ll do $340 for the Jack (410 new)
    Save $70

    $300 for the smoother (350 on Carbatec)
    -mine has the PM V11 blade, Carbatec is A1 blade
    - worth about 380 new as PM11 blade is more expensive
    Save $80

    $170 for the block plane, 250 new
    Save $80

    If you buy all 3 a small discount further - $800 total.

    I did mean to ask, but the blade in the Jack is the A1?

    I was also thinking of making an offer on the Block plane, but my loot is stretched to buggery, so it might need to be embarrassing....
