American Redoak Boards
I purchased a bundle of American Redoak from Masters some years ago, and they have been stored in my shop ever since. I am considering offloading my surplus stock of various species, but I have not made a final decision yet. Currently, I am offering 5 boards of American Redoak with dimensions of 900x235x19 (length x width x thickness).
The boards are in good condition, with only a small amount of cupping. This can be easily remedied by using a wet towel and iron. It is worth noting that American redoak is no longer available in Australia, making these boards quite unique and valuable.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing these boards or if you have any further questions. I am still contemplating my options but may decide to sell the others gradually.
Thank you for your interest!
Price $200 the lot

Oh wow I had no bloody idea, thanks auscab. I did a Bing AI search asking what it's worth today and it came up with it's not available in Australia. It did show cheap prices in the US though. I do remember paying a fortune at Masters for it, but I will adjust the price accordingly. Thanks again mate.

Many thanks to auscab for providing me the correct price I am now lowering the price accordingly that matches the 19mm thickness not 25.
New Price is $15ea.
I would like to add here on the Gold Coast I am unable to purchase any wood since the price increases due to covid greed for $15.

Masters and Bunnings for timber is always an expensive way to go.
The price I got of a guy I buy off regularly. He is always cheaper than the larger Melbourne sellers. He's more a wholesaler to the woodworking trade I suppose. The big sellers would be a Grand or two higher per M3 probably and that would be a fair price for your wood. I'm happy to pass on my guys number if you or anyone here want it . By PM though .
