Australian White BEECH
no photo available yet. FOR SALE Australian White 1.3metres long X 800 wide X 100mm thick, recently slabbed nice and clean with no faults, $260:00, per slab if anyone is interested i can be contacted on 0407982166 I will post pictures in a day or so other slabs also in 50mm thickness.
Sunshine coast area for collection.

How dry are the slabs?

some are recently slabbed at 100mm thick the others a few months ago, I previously had advice that Beech takes years to dry and always remains greasy and it can be used for carving without being dried, I've used some for carving walking stick carved heads and not had any problems , this was using parts from the branches. Already sold one of the 100mm slabs to a carver in Maleny and interest from a carving school in Brisbane.

Interested - if freight is reasonable and pictures ok

I think the club would only look at freight if you organised it from the looks of things its going to sell pretty quickly dry or not I've earmarked a piece for myself. The size and weight of them would probably be restrictive, let me know if you can work a price out for freight?

all the ends have been sealed with emulsified wax finish

sorry I missed you post we have some slabs at 50mm thick x about 1.3 long as in pics at the bottom of the stack, they are about 500 to 700 wide
