Default Blackwood

When I got these I was told they were blackwood but If someone could please have a look at the images below and advise if it is infact blackwood or not, that'd be great. I'm still new to learning different species of timbers and although a google search seemed to match the appearence, id rather verify with people in the know.

I don't think someone will buy them for the chair, I was more thinking someone may want them for the timber?

Ok, back to the chairs.
6 Blackwood dining chairs that were brought a long time ago to restore, but never got around to doing it and need to clear up space.

They are 800mm high (at the back) and the sitting part is 470mm off the ground and 470mm deep.

The fabric doesn't all match, and needs to be replaced.
I have pulled one apart to show you what you would have if you were wanting them for the frame (see picture).

As for price, how's $50 sound

Located on the Mornington Peninsula, but might be able to assist getting them to s/e suburbs.

Based on the closeup pic showing the grain I'm gona say no! looks more like meranti or something similliar, the chairs by the look of it have had a very dark stain applied, it all looks too much the same to be able to discern any variation in the timber which then gives clues to what the timber is, in other words it's too hard to tell, for me any way
