So you entice me to lower my asking price for a quick sale and then withdraw leaving me with the lower price. Not very nice.

I was not going to get into this but when you say you will pick up Wednesday and pay cash and then requested to transfer money before pickup..... that rings alarm bells to me.
Thanks but no thanks.
Cheers

I think you have made a BIG mistake here.
I am selling wood, not buying.
I have NEVER said anything to you about me picking up wood from you and paying you by any means.
Moderators - please remove Woodtryer's false and offensive, possibly defamatory, post.

I don't know what is going on here but I received a PM after my offer saying yes but I would need to pay up front. I then said I would pay cash on pick up but still had to pay up front.
Did you not send me those PM s.
If not then someone is hacking in and sending false messages,.

For the record, I have NOT used a PM to communicate with Woodtryer at any time.
I have followed the Forum rules at all times.
All correspondence between Buyers and Sellers is to be done in the thread, NOT by PM.
PMs' and Emails are ONLY to be used for exchanging personal contact information and only when the deal has been done between buyer and seller.
If you want to buy the item enter "I'll take it" if you need more info ask for more info in the thread not via PM.
He made me an offer. I accepted it.
Under the rules, he then had to say "I'll take it" which he did not do. I took no further action.

Hi Denzil, yes you did nothing wrong and I apologise. I did however receive a PM but it turns out it is someone trying on a scam. They said they were you and we could arrange payment/delivery of the blanks.
I got concerned when even though was to pick-up I still needed to pay in advance. That is when I withdraw my offer.
This was not Denzil but someone attempting to scam money.
Everyone needs to be very aware of this especially if you are getting product posted.
If I had been more on the ball I should have realised something was wrong from the start.
I am sorry Denzil but I hope you can understand my reaction thinking this was you.
I will forward on the PM to DJ.
Regards,
Peter

Thank you Peter.
I’ve received the reported PM and straight away can see that it is from a scammer and that person will now be Banned.
Denzil has not broken any rules etc and has acted fairly throughout the process.Cheers

Thank you Peter.
I am glad you cleared that up.
Let's hope that DJ can get to the bottom of this.
