Boxmaking timber - Rose Marara and NSW Scented Rosewood.
A couple of interesting species. Rose Marara is one that doesn't come up too often, almost identical in appearance to Tassie Myrtle only heavier and denser. NSW Rosewood needs no introduction. The Rosewood board has been skim dressed to show the colour however there is remaining surface checking which should dress out given the thickness. Marara is rough sawn 2050 x 275 x 35 (first two photos) and Rosewood is 1470 x 120 x 42. Pickup from Ascot $40 the pair.

Any way you would consider posting?

Ivor, The Marara is pretty heavy so I expect posting may be prohibitive or a cost perspective. Pickup will be the way to go I think unless you want it cut up into smaller pieces.

You can't 'post' anything over 1050mm long so posting wouldn't be an option unless you were prepared to have the boards cut.

I wouldn't be averse to cutting the pieces in half. Could you please get me an approximate weight and I'll work out what the postage in likely to be.
