Relax Nick, it's going to a good home in Melbourne at this stage, depending on Vinny who has one more day to take it
Did you see the fiddle back on the camhor, beautiful and going to a good home at NZ via Glendenning.....
Ben.....The slab qld maple is 50mm, not 25, it would take a lot of thicknessing....the inch boards I have aren't long enough for you.....I'll check the width and thickness this weekend when I get to the bottom of the stack and let you know, 0therwise, I'll see what Mal can do for you for a board

Hi Greg,
I wouldn't want to waste that much thicknessing.

I was going to break the board in to 4 lengths

2 x 900 x 300 x 25
2 x 600 x 300 x 25

Also remembered another 2 x 900

Thanks Ben

I'm sure with your new wheels, we can make up a load to make the trip worth while.
I've got some NG rosewood and Euro beech coming, from a Qld sale but it won't be here until after the bris show when it gets a free lift down
Let me know when you want to come around.
thanks and Regards

That sounds great Greg. Do you have room to store the Kauri till the Beech and the other fiddleback arrives so I can grab them all in one trip, or do you need me to come get the Kauri out of your hair? I can deposit the cash for the Kauri if you want to PM me your bank details.

No problems Peter, the Kauri will be fine
Not sure on the next trip to the farm for camphor, maybe Easter, but I'll keep you updated. Don't worry about payment

Ben.
You really need inch boards, the 50mm is too thick, I will have a look, but don't think I've enough for your needs, but will be able to get them later. What is your timing?

Greg

Default rosewood boards

Yep. Great boards with typical rosewood faults in the centre, I'll resaw into shorts if they don't sell. Good colour, no splitting in the good sections
They're yours if you want them, plenty more available, but not here......
