GOLD COAST: Wood turning blanks ++
I have a large collection of blanks which I got in bulk a while ago, but I've decided there's more than I can use.
They are sealed and dry, ready to turn.
Species are mostly camphor, but a smattering of others. I don't specialise in identification but there's jacaranda, cedar, mango, jarrah, mulberry? and others but you may have a better idea than I do.
The larger diameter ones (500+mm) are shallow so perfect for platters, and the smaller diameter pieces have more depth. Diameters range from 100 to about 500mm, maybe a few larger than 500.
Come around and choose what you want and we can discuss price. I think the large ones are worth $80 to 100, and the little fellas only 5 or 10, and then everything in between. I'll see how much local interest I have - I may list pieces more individually at a later date for interstate turners. I can also help with specific requests if you are after something that may be here.
Thanks all,
Mitch.

I will have to go through them to find certain species. I'll find all the deep red ones and tally them up - not sure, but this is what I think is Jarrah:

I did some sorting out.
First image is assorted irregular blanks including some live edges.
Second image is the 200 to 300mm blanks. There's about 150 blanks here.
The third image is the larger ones: The biggest is 620mm, a few in the 500's and most in the 400s.
Species are mostly camphor, but there's some rosewood and some eucalypts but I can't determine the specific species. There also a few smaller blanks of a very heavy timber which I think is mulberry.
