Would you be up for splitting the batch and sending just the Brown Salwood over to Italy? How much would it cost?
Otherwise, what would be the total for the whole batch including shipping to Italy?
    Thanks

I'm not saying it would be applicable in this case, but some countries require quite stringent paperwork to prove any timbers imported have been properly fumigated and certified clear. I ran into this trouble when I imported my CNC and the pallets it was on were the issue.

    Hi Paolo
    Thanks for your interest
At this stage prefer to sell domestically
Going forward certainly interested in getting some wood to you once I sort out export rules and regulations

    Thank you
I have been receiving samples from all over the world, including ~10 parcels from Australia, and not a single one got stuck in the customs. And even if it did, it would only mean that I risk to lose my goods...
    Come on, please!

    That's great, thank you!
If you can add some small samples (at least 120*38*5mm) from any other local species or, even better, from other Brown Salwood logs (i.e. individual trees) it would be very appreciated!
Please get in touch with a quote including shipping to 21047 Italy.
    Best regards
    Paolo

    Paolo

I have read your posts a little more closely and now feel that these bits may be way too big for your purpose
Would you prefer me to send you 5mm samples of Brown Salwood? (Have plenty of figured thin boards)
That way it won't cost as much in freight and importantly you get pieces that are a more suitable dimension.

Yes, thank you, that would work for me!
Either figured or non-figured samples would work, as long as they are not endgrain samples.
However, IF you are happy to split this batch I would be happy to also purchase this Brown Salwood chunk to do some deeper testing.
    Thanks again

    O.k
Well go with the samples then.
I won't split this pack but will find you a piece of figured Brown Salwood suitable for deep testing
Will sort in the coming days Paolo
This pack then remains available to anyone who may want it
