Putting up for sale these very old Red Cedar architectural surrounds,form a judges wall closet (possibly where he kept his robs and wigg).

This is Southern N.S.W red cedar-not the usual QLD crap,Its a much denser grain,a bit heavier than the stuff around today,(I used to restore antique furniture for a living,so quite aware of what quality it is).

I have owned these lengths for over twenty year,thought I'd use them the plinth
and crown etc on a big bookcase,or a bed testor overhead.All pices approx 2.4 long

Anyhow,having a clean out and going on holiday-so up for sale.

Struth-times must be tuff-last time I put up red cedar and rosewood for sale blokes were fighting over who PM'ed me first.

Really surprised to have no interest in these remarkable pieces of red cedar.

How about an offer of $150 for the lot?

Anyone interested in these at $130 ? there is a bit more cedar in these,than one would think-the photos are deceptive,the is one board approx 2.4 long 250 mm wide and 25 mm thick,

Is red cedar no longer in demand?-use to once be 'the ducks guts'
