    Default Seasoned cabinet timber

Hi, we have a large range of seasoned cabinetmaking timber - red cedar, hoop and kauri pine. Also veneers, turned legs, castors, finials and cabinet hardware. All located in Toowoomba QLD. Looking for $20,000 due to retiring from the Antique trade.

    Hi Sharon,

sorry to hear that you are closing. Most members of the forums are not commercial. We work for the love of it. As such, we are unlikely to have either the $$ or the space to hold that quantity of of timber. However, a lot of us would be very interested in part of your board.

Hi thanks for your response. There is way too much timber for me to estimate the cubic meters. Best option is for a viewing if possible.

But for a quick estimate all you would need to do is estimate if you piled it up, roughly how many metres long, high and wide would the stack be? If you don’t know how many cubic metres you have, how did you arrive at a price of $20k?

    Default seasoned timber quantity

Hi - have done a rough measure up - around 30-40 cubic metres based on each pile - length x width x height. That doesn't include the quantity of veneers, turned legs etc. I based the price on clearing the lot as a job lot for under market value. If we pulled out each plank/length of cedar/hoop pine it would realise more but hoping someone will take the lot for a cheaper price.

About $500/cu.m That is very cheap, someone in QLD should consider snapping that up asap.

If there is 30-40 cu. m then there must be some pictures missing. Having recently received and stacked 10 cu. m of firewood my pile seems significantly larger.

The burning question here is just how much of the timber is shown in the picture? Thirty cube is a semi load.

If it wasn't lockdown I'd go for a drive.
I'm interested however transport will be a challenge at this rate due to the 40 cube.
