    Coobah (Acacia salicina)

    a inland tree, with willow habit growing along waterways
    its wood is a bit like blackwood (similar density), dry seasoned
    small board, 310 x 160 x 37 mm, suit small project of wood samples
    1.2 kg

    small board, 490 x 175 x 26 mm. Colours here are distorted. Irritating wood dust.
    famous, cabinet timber now uncommon, suit small projects

    Default Desert Ironwood Block

    Desert Ironwood (Acacia excelsa) Block

    Mid chocolate brown, very dense, fine texture, dry, most with fiddleback figure throughout
    small surface checks in some areas and small knot one side.
    size 450 x 120 x 46 mm , planed 2 sides some lacquer on ends to show color finished

    $50 .... prefer pick-up as its heavy!

    Default Tulupwood 1/2 log

    Tulipwood (half log)

    Harpullia pendula

    A tropical species with a fine white wood & small dark brown heartwood, sometimes heartwood streaked and patterned like a tortoise shell
    This half log has spalting and cracking but have left it so it can be cut as required
    280 mm long x 120 mm across face ....1.9 kg
