Thuja Burl - 2 small slabs (SPECIAL)
Thuya Burl Slabs (from Nth Africa) This is one of the few softwoods that is fire adapted to produce a root burl (lignotuber).
It IS RARE and Expensive and for small very special items inlays boxes, pens etc.
Its is moderately dense, resinous, fragrant and with lovely figure & birdseeds.
Its rumored that, Caesar when he saw it thought it so beautiful he wanted a table made from it!!
Colours are nicer richer darker in real life ...

180 - 250 mm long (to pointy bit) x 140 wide x 23 mm thick ……… $65
Has a small corner missing and bit missing on edge one side, If sawn in 2 - 3 it will form lovely book match pieces for drawer front box lids etc)

Is harder to describe, its bigger thick but has more bits missing. Maybe best to cut pens or knob of small item from it?
About 250 long x 100 wide x 55 thick with holes rot etc included…… $65
