Apple Macbook Pro 13inch M1/16GB/2TB Space Grey
Unmarked, more computer than you'll ever need packed into a superlight, portable little box.
I run Windoze 11 in a Parallels virtual machine, model with Fusion360, and even send emails . It takes everything I throw at it and asks for more. If you've never used Apple Silicon before, you're in for a treat. These things are fast.
I'll put this on scumtree shortly, but thought I'd see if anyone here needs a powerful laptop at a decent price. I'll trade it in on a new 16" in a couple of weeks if no-one wants it - Apple do.
Every few years I buy the highest configuration MacBook available. You’ll see the spec of this machine is way above most of the machines available second hand in this price range – I've been through Scumtree and fleabay, and the machines are usually more expensive and much lower spec - 256Gb HDD's I ask you wot?!
It is unmarked - it’s lived in a hard shell all its life and is in full working order – only for sale as I’ve just upgraded again (when the taxman offers, we must take. The blighter doesn’t often give).
It will come with the hard shell and a power adaptor, and an extra little port replicator with 3 x USB 3.0, and an SD and a microSD slot.
Running the latest MacOS supplied with a clean install.
I’d prefer local pickup (Newcastle) so you can see what you’re getting and confirm condition, but happy to post at cost (insured) to well-known forum members once cleared payment received.
Not available to the sons/daughters/nieces/cousins of deposed Nigerian finance ministers.
Happy to answer questions. I believe I’ve priced it very fairly for the spec and condition, compared to what else is available on the Scumtree. It’s a lot of computer for not much money.
Price is not negotiable - any less makes the Apple trade in route more attractive, and a lot less hassle.
$1000 ex post

Does this model connect to an external display via that usb-c hub or is that storage only?

This hub is storage, but both the MacBook’s usb c ports are thunderbolt so they’ll connect to an external display with the appropriate cable (eg usb c thunderbolt to hdmi. ).
