Baker 355-2 14inch bandsaw table mounts WANTED
I just purchased the above bandsaw from another member from here, put it in the trailer and 2 1/2 hours later, got home (yeah it's a long drive).
Looked in and found that the mounts that allow the table to be adjusted are crap aliminium cast by the looks and they were broken into numerous pieces.
Needless to say, I can;t use the bandsaw until I get replacement parts. Anyone have a contact or know where to get replacement parts?
Oh -DISCLAIMER - the item was sold in perfect working condition by the seller and there is no inference whatsoever that there is any fault by the seller, this is a happens situation and a learning, in future with something like this, may be an idea to check these mounts and remove the table entirely or transport the item standing upright - but this issue may still present itself.
I will upload photos later to show exactly what I am referring to if I haven't clarified it correctly above, it is 2.50am after another night of sleep.

Where the table mounts ^:

You can see where the mounts have broken ^

And the pile of parts I have left. Appears that some of the broken pieces are just gone - but allowing for the cheap aluminium construction, bonding them is out of the question.
As you can see, it is the curved brackets that I need.

yes, the trunions, you may well find that generic ones will mount fine (or you may find that they won't mate with the lower half on the body and will require "more work").

I don't suppose anyone has some? Finding it hard to locate. Or does anyone have a dead band saw?

Yo can make up some non adjustable mounts from angle.
If you do this you won’t be able to tilt the table.
Might be worthwhile to get it operational whilst you chase up parts.
If this is the same as all the other generic Taiwanese saws you should be able to source parts.
I remember a bloke having 3 or so wrecks a few years back, he was attempting to make one good one from the bits.
These have been around for quite a few years now and being so cheaply made are now being scrapped.
I bought a 20” Bandsaw with damaged trunions, used it as was until I arranged a swap with someone who didn’t need the tilt function.
