    Looking for a benchtop spiral/helixl thicknesser and jointer, Single phase, due to very limited space

    That is an excellent comment.

    After doing the rounds and seeing what is out there brand new, I would have to say 5ish hundred!

    I may be grasping at straws, but as i stated, very new to the finer aspects of wood working.

    I paid more than that for my second hand conventional head planer thicknesser 6 years ago. A spiral head conversion is $550 for mine.
