Combination machine
I'm looking for a single phase combination machine. I have a reasonable budget, and was thinking along the lines of Minimax C26 or C30, Robland or even Felder. If anyone is thinking of selling one of these, I'd be more than happy to hear from you.

Combination machine
Hi Greg,
I have a 240v 1996 Felder BF6-31 (with 1.7m slider) in exceptionally good condition with heaps of optional extras. I will send you some info about it via PM .

Hi Greg, I too have a 240v Felder bf6-31 I’m tossing up what to do with. 1998 model I believe and I’ve literally just had a Shelix head fitted (not run yet), all new spindle Moulder componentry, router shaft, all new bearings and belts and plastics. Might be of interest depending on budget.

Sorry to hijack thread, but jw2373 - can you give me some details on the Shelix head? Cost, where purchased, model number? I’ve got a bf6-31 and have wondered if a spiral head might be a worthwhile upgrade.

Hi Leigh,
I’ll have to find the part number. The BF6-31s had two different head sizes so you’d need to take yours out and measure. I think the earlier models were different. I had to cross reference my head with their shop drawings to confirm all was fine. In terms of cost, it was around $2-$2.5k including taxes and duties and took about 30 weeks to arrive, but that may have been because it was the height of COVID. It was a real pain for the tech to get out and put back in too.

Thanks JW,
Looks like I’ll keep on dreaming about it then, rather than actually doing anything.
