Lie-Nielsen block plane
Long shot, but does anyone have a L-N No 60.5 low angle block plane that they want to move on? This one:

It’ll cost me AU$280 landed in ‘Straya, so I’d pay up to 2/3rds of that depending on age and condition.
I’m not interested in any other block plane - I had the opportunity to use a whole bunch of these over the weekend, and the LN is the one that my clumsy paw likes

Sorry, I know you said you weren't interested in anything else, but I still have to ask...
Have you tried a Stanley 60 1/2? It's the plane that the LN is pretty much outright copying. Sure, the LN weighs more and has some tolerance improvements, but in lieu of spending $280 you can probably find the Stanley at a much lower price (leaving you some cash for wood).
Just a thought. Good luck either way.

Thanks Luke - I’m usually very keen to save some pesetas, and this is definitely a case of compensation for my own hack-like (in)ability. The little Stanley was one of the planes in the mix I used over the weekend.
In a few years and a few thousand cubic meters of planed wood I suspect it’d do just fine...

Bern, why not just get a brand new LN #102? It is smaller, but feels very similar in the hand. And it would cost less than 2/3 of a new #60 1/2.

Have you looked at the veritas block plane? It's quite a bit heavier than the Stanley and is lovely to work with.
These tend to pop up on the 2nd hand market more than the LN.

Keep looking - I saw one on Gumtree about 2 months ago, so they do pop up. Don't recall the price, but it went quickly.

For the asking price they are excellent value, at least for my purposes. I have both versions of the linked plane and have not been disappointed with them at all. I don't like their larger planes as they are very heavy but that goes for all the planes made today unfortunately so I use older Stanleys etc which are far lighter.

I was doing a little research along the lines of "why are these darn things so bloody expensive', and came across this (which has several jaw-dropping moments):
Amazing work.
