    Default PaulCall branded parts

Hi everyone, I am chasing parts or possibly even whole machines from the PaulCall brand.
I am currently restoring an old table saw, surface planer (Jointer) and disc sander that I purchased for myself and have taken a real shine to the brand. My machines are possibly in the 40 to 50yr old range???
Information and general PaulCall items seem to be as rare as hen's teeth from my research.
This forum has yielded the most information that I could find anywhere, so I am putting out the "Call" (Pun intended) for anything you have that may be of interest with regards to this brand.

    Cheers......

My understanding is that Paulcall was a "home brand" for the Sydney Hardware Store, Pauls. It was a very good store and only went out of business a few years ago. I imagine that in the 40s, 50s and 60s they rebadged locally made machinery (as did McPhersons in Brisbane).

As for finding information, I think that your best chances might be by contacting The Traditional Tools Group (Sydney-based) or the Hand Tool Preservation Association of Australia (Melbourne-based). They both have pretty good libraries of brochures etc that might help cast some light on your machine.
    Cheers

    Default PaulCall branded parts

I have a Paul Call 6" plainer/jointer and 12" bandsaw that are my fathers. The jointer got a lot of use as he was a builder and it was taken on site. Bandsaw was mostly used when he built boats.

    Sorry not for sale.

I have a PaulCall bandsaw at home. Broke the blade and haven't had time to get a new one for it. Not particularly attached to it if you are interested.

Not sure if this is of interest, but I recalled seeing this thread.

And snaffling through Gumtree tonight I came across this: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/tugg...saw/1148605185
