Default Save a table from an ugly death

    Hi

Looking to make up a benchtop 900x900mm somewhat on the cheap side.

I've been hunting about for timber, would love silky oak but other light coloured timber would be fine (not fond of pine atheistically or as a benchtop) just something with a bit of character.

Closest I have come is a few antique tables on marketplace but I can't seem to bring myself to go the chop up without trying other avenues first.

Happy to entertain offers up to $100 dependant on my whims (well actually what I can convince the wife to go for)

Brisbane based and would prefer to swap cash for goods in person as saves a bunch of time and postage.

Have you had a look at Facebook Marketplace around your area, that's usually a really good source?

    Default Table saved

I'd mark this as done if I could find the edit post but I digress.
No table was harmed in the making of this benchtop.
I won't mention about an antique double bed but that is a different matter.
