Default (Or ship from interstate) - Festool 36mm Anti Static hose

Looking for a 3.5m or longer 36mm Festool hose to sit between a Kapex 120 and CT36. Looking for one in good condition that might be surplus to someones requirements, and I'm happy to take either the new smooth or older style ribbed hose.

It's needed relatively soon, and also happy to pay reasonable shipping from wherever this might be located if someone interstate has something suitable.

Many thanks if someone has one they're willing to sell!

Look up the Bosch 35mm antistatic hose on Amazon.com - it is the essentially the same as the Festool (but blue in colour) at half the price.

    Thanks Derek,

Now I recall that information from here: Cheaper antistatic hoses for a Festool vacuum cleaner - I'd forgetten where I'd seen this and the details of it - thank you for the reminder!

I found what I think is the right product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-VH1635A...r=8-1-fkmrnull

Whilst it's a great idea, given that I need to interface to the CT36, I'd need to pay for that hose, and $70 for a Festool adapter. Given conversion rate and shipping at current exchange rates, this makes the who deal near $265, plus the lead time in getting stuff from overseas

Appreciate the throught Derek, and I hope you won't mind if I leave the shout-out here in case someone has an extra they are willing to part with

Something to consider is that because the kapex is earthed via the power cord you don't need to use an antistatic hose.

I use a shortened 50 mm hose that came off a cheap shopvac. The fitting on the vac end fitted the CT.

I had to make an adaptor to fit the hose onto the kapex. It was a PVC plumbing fitting that I had to turn down so that the original vac fitting went on the CT. It works much better than the 36 mm hose.

The vacuum end of the Bosch is different. I plug the hose into a Dust Commander (similar to Dust Deputy), so this is not an issue for me. I would suggest that you will need a replacement interface if going directly into a Festool CT (I have the 26e). The other end of the Bosch has the same bayonet as the Festool hose (identical) ...
