Hi there, I realize this is an old post but if you're still looking for these blades I'm pretty sure I still have a few securely stored at the bottom of my tool box,
I could also upload some photos of how to sharpen the blades with a triangular file.
email me at <pbaxa@bigpond.net.au> if interested.
Paul.

Lay your triangular file on a flat surface and hold the skarsten on an angle as in picture, file just enough blade away till the filed edge is all the way to the leading(trailing?) edge, be careful not to file the actual body of the scraper that the blade is held in, when you've done that too many times the blade will start to fall out and the scraper is knackered.

Default Skarsden Scrapers

Hi Fishflog,

I've just been out to the workshop. There's a double sided number 62 hanging there on a nail. It's as new and complete with one new blade I just fitted and hasn't been used for more than 30 years. I'll happily mail it to you free of charge if you feel you need it. Send me a PM with your address.

Cheers Old Pete

Default scraper

Hello Old Pete,

Thanks for your generosity but I have already purchased one & spare blades from WB50.

I love the way members unselfishly help out fellow members on this site.

I do wish it would happen more in the "world". Thanks again.

Regards

Brian B
