    Default Table edge repair job - Melb NW Suburbs

    *Admins - I didn't know where to post this - sorry if it is in the wrong spot.

    Hello WWFers.

    I have been requested to quote on a repair to damage to one edge of a 1.5m square Vic Ash table - damaged in transit by a removal company.
    The table is in NW Melb - around the Caroline Springs area. I am located inner SE Melb and can't do the job.

    The damage looks to be around 20mm long near the corner of the edge of one side - the client suspects that it was dragged across something that has removed the stain & lacquer. From the picture they have supplied, there appears to be no damage to the timber, just the finish has come off.

    It is such a small area. I would ask your client to rub a little bit of wipe-on poly on it and move on.
