Have you tried Carbatec? I ordered one in through them a few years ago. If I remember correctly it cost somewhere around $90.

    Default Success!

Thanks everyone for your help. Carbatec had one for a Triton router TRA001’B’ , and I found out the same speed controller unit was used for all the TRA001 models.
    Cost $99 plus $10 postage
New router TRA001B from Carbatec is $500, but no stock available for at least 6 weeks
    regards,

    Hi,
Just letting everyone know (if you didn't already) Carbatec are no longer stocking parts for Triton. So to get a speed controller from UK will cost about $200. Most of that being shipping of course.
    Kind Regards,
    Ross

.....and the replacement part is exactly the same design of speed controller that failed in the first place, which means it will fail again. DAMHIKT.....

If most of the cost is postage maybe worth organising a group buy ?

It's not postage that's the issue - being small and light postage is at the cheapest rate.
