    Default Red cedar furniture restoration projects

    Here's a couple of my 'gunna do' jobs that are half or more finished but I'm moving house so they can become your 'gunna do' projects if you want them

    The first is a red cedar chest of drawers.

    The sanding is done and finishing of the feet is done. What remains is some crack filling and simple repair of a broken drawer joint. Knobs also need to be sourced for this.

    The second is an arched red cedar fireplace surround that's sanded and disassembled. There are two small mouldings missing. No pics sorry.

    The winner of the chest gets first choice of the surround.

    These are pick-up only from Reservoir in Melbourne.
