WoodRiver 4-way Clamping System
Brand new, still in the box.
I've got ONE of these - https://www.woodcraft.com/products/w...lamping-system - free to a good home, just pay postage ($12.60 to anyone in the Fastway delivery area Australia wide or at cost otherwise).
Would suit someone who already has something similar and wants to add an extra clamp or as a starter for someone who has been considering a purchase. Prices for these or something similar seem to be anywhere from $45 to $60. PM me with your address if you want it and I can check the freight/postage for you.
Cheers,
David

3 minutes and it is gone! Talk about being quick. Interesting looking clamp Aldav, would be very handy.

No thanks, I'd rather the panel clamps, that I got from you.

SOLD or gone to dcarbonetti, you know what I mean! It's gone.
Sorry if you wanted this Uncle Al. I've been doing some cleaning up this week, but perhaps I should have done it the week before and brought a few more things to Chris' last weekend.
Yes Pat the panel clamps are significantly better, but the price on this one was pretty attractive.

The Veritas ones are pretty exxy for what they are though. There'd be no point in having less than two of these and the item that Timbecon sells similar to the Wood River is a lot more economical - $85 for a pair compared to $162 for the Veritas, and significantly cheaper again if you buy four for $149. I also wonder about the amount of top to bottom pressure that the Veritas system can generate, although I acknowledge that I have no personal experience with them.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Ahh, I see he does actually go on to MAKE some clamps based on the Veritas design. If you were going to go to the trouble you'd want to be using high tensile fittings and over time I'd still be concerned about the viability of that plain thread in the tightening mechanism. There are certainly better/more suitable materials available cheaply that you could use to make a panel clamp.
