Well, I finally got off my duff and ventured down to the dark, dank basment workshop (wishing to win the lotto so a proper shed can be built in the backyard !!!) to work on my entry.

A simple pot based (kinda, sorta, loosly) on 10th century BC pottery in what is today Israel.

50mm wide x 44.5mm high x ~2mm wall thickness.
The wood is ornamental cherry with several coats of Waterlox.

Note: for those wondering what the coin is...it's a U.S. 25 cent piece

Well, it's very unlikely that there will be a separate category for jewelry, so the ring and the earring do not count.

If there is going to be a separate category for bowls, this is my entry in it. I call it the 8-winged dragon. Olivewood, Shellawax. The last pic is in the 50x50x50 paper box I made for easy reference.

Thanks Ed... I think the unusual design did it, yours looks better finished than mine.
